You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.

Hey you. Yes you. Do you know many words that begin with a C?

I bet you do.

I bet Courage isn't first on your list.

Courage is one of those C words that might make you do crazy things.

Either stand up for something you believe in or maybe you have courage to not do something your heart is telling you might not be the best idea. All I know is I want more of it.

I don’t have many words to describe what I did, because really you just had to be there. I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Chattanooga, TN for a Christian Women's Conference. It was no accident that I was there. I was suppose to be there. The amazing women of Three Stands Inc. invited and paid for everything for birth moms. How incredibly awesome are they!

Little did I know how this conference would greatly impact my life. Have you ever been to an event, heard someone speak, or listened to a song and it completely moved your soul?

This was one of those times.

After it was over I was emotionally drained yet so spiritually uplifted and inspired. This was an all day conference complete with worship music, speakers, non-profit organization vendors and boxed lunches due to the crazy thunderstorm.

The women chosen to share their testimonies and stories were phenomenally courageous it was unbelievable. They poured out their hearts to complete strangers. So raw and real. Their stories about abuse, brokenness, pain, loss, suffering, then God shows himself and turns their brokenness into healing, joy, and happiness. With courage and faith their lives were changed.

Sibi Riffer the incredible christian speaker and blogger over at Pearls and Grace who was the mastermind behind the conference spoke straight to my heart.

She said, "All of your suffering and what you have been through is for someone else's breakthrough.” How profound is that?!

Honestly, think about it. Everything I have been through. My birth, abuse, an unplanned pregnancy, Tally’s adoption. My story- will help someone else. I just have to have the courage to share it. That doesn't go just for me though...that also goes for you too.

Every struggle, crisis, heartbreak, challenge, and obstacle you have ever faced, if you just reach down into your soul and pull out that courage and share it for good. You can change someone's life.
