There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.
— Earnest Hemingway

About 5 years ago I came across and old blog titled PINK MOSS.  The blog has changed a lot since that time but I am so grateful for the friendship of the author, Janae Moss.

On her old blog she created a letter writing challenge.  Writing a letter to your 14 year old self.  At first I thought the concept was so silly.  I am a 30 something year old mom, wife, business owner and more...how in the hell am I supposed to remember what it was like to be 14.  But I took the challenge.  I got quiet and connected with that girl...she was still in there.  And our conversation was amazing and life changing!

Since that time I knew that I wanted to do a letter writing course for women.  I didn't know what it looked like or how I would present it to our community.  Recently I had the opportunity to host a support group for grieving women.  I remembered this challenge and I knew that it was time to bring it forward.

So here is  MY CHALLENGE TO YOU!

I will be writing these letters right along side you.

Simply download the journal sheet, pick a letter topic and write.

I hope you will join me in reconnecting with so many things that are still buried deep within us!

Take the time to get quiet, to ponder the topic deeply and bleed it out on paper.
