“When I found out I was pregnant I was terrified.  I could not believe this was my life, I could not believe that this was happening to me and I had no idea what I was going to do.

When it finally got to a point that I HAD to deal with it and make a choice my first thought was abortion.  I knew that if I was going to get the abortion I needed to figure it out and do it SOON.  It was the option that had the soonest expiration date.

If I was going to decide against the abortion then there were two options left.  I would carry the pregnancy to term and I could either parent the child myself or I could choose adoption for the baby and relinquish my rights to another family so that they could parent the child.

I had no idea what to choose.  I didn’t know enough about ANY of the options and did not feel that I could make a truly educated decision.  I was too scared to talk to anyone about it and there were no unbiased resources available, even for me to review in private.”
